A snowstorm blanketed Happy Camp with about one foot of snow on January 7-9 and knocked out power for over 24 hours.

Since no heavy rain followed this time the snow stayed on the ground for days, making our town more beautiful than ever. This is the scene at the corner of Indian Creek Road and Second where Happy Camp's most historic buildings stand.
